As one of the world’s leading child development organizations, Compassion partners with the local church in 25 countries to end poverty in the lives of children and their families.

Today, two million children are discovering lives full of promise and purpose as they develop in all the different aspects of their lives—their minds, bodies and relationships—while giving them the opportunity to hear the gospel of Jesus Christ at a local church.

It means they don’t simply respond to poverty by handing out food or Bibles. Instead, Compassion seek to develop children in all the different aspects of their lives—their minds, bodies and relationships—while equipping local churches to share the love of Jesus with them.  

Haven is partnering with Compassion to end poverty and bringing God's Shalom to as many children and communities as possible.

Our Mission in Haven is that we we exist to change the world by making disciples, planting churches and ending injustice. The goal of Compassion is to end poverty for children and equip them as disciples. That hits at the core of our mission and identity.

Through this partnership with Compassion, we can change the lives for innumerable children and make disciples out of many and put a dent in poverty and thereby injustice around the world.
