Mission

We exist to change the world by making disciples, planting churches and ending injustice.

Making Disciples

Making disciples involves two components.

First, it means reaching unchurched people with the gospel. As a church, we are all about people who don’t have a relationship with Jesus. We exist to bring people into a relationship with Him.

Second, we want people to become more like Jesus. This is the process we call spiritual formation. The goal of spiritual formation is for you to become who Jesus would be if He were you. Jesus came to create a new humanity, and when we become like Him, we become who we were created to be.

Planting Churches

Planting churches is at the heart of our DNA. There are three reasons why we are committed to church planting.

First, it’s biblical. Everywhere the apostles went, they made disciples and formed new churches.

Second, when the number of healthy, gospel-centred churches increases, so does the number of people coming to faith. Furthermore, when we plant a new church, we have an opportunity to bring justice and peace to where we go.

Third, church planting does more than reach unchurched people for the Kingdom; it also renews the body of Christ and strengthens other churches.

Ending Injustice

There are over 2,000 verses in the Bible that address God’s justice and His heart for the quartet of the vulnerable—the poor, the fatherless, the widow, and the foreigner.

God is a God of justice, and He wants to heal our broken world and make it right. Our God loves the vulnerable, and because He does, we must also love the vulnerable.

In a spirit of humility, it is incumbent upon us to minister to the sick, feed the hungry, care for prisoners, advocate for the disadvantaged, and deliver the oppressed.

Through all of this, we strive to end the injustice in our world and bring God’s kingdom near.
